All about me

MeWell what can I say about myself? My name is Steven. I was born at 4:30 in the morning of Sunday May 12th 1985.

I didn't start talking words until I was four. I just screamed a lot before then! I guess that I am still making up for the lack of talking now.

I went to Primary School at 'Wepre Lane CP' and was nearly moved into the special needs class but I managed to carry on in the normal class.

I did average in my K.S. 1 & 2 SATS and I moved on to Connah's Quay High School in September 1996. My head of year was Ian Stubbs.

My K.S. 3 SATS resulted in level 5's and I chose to study French, Business and History at GCSE level as well as the mandatory English, Science and Maths with RE short course.

Me on Bridge CornerI got good GCSE grades but I didn't want to go to the sixth form and study A-Levels so I moved next door to Deeside College where I studied the BTEC National Diploma in computing and I also studied the Cisco programme. However it was painfully obvious by January that I had made a mistake. I had failed Cisco and was failing the diploma miserably.

Realising that A-Levels were the best idea I decided to study them at the College and chose Business, English Language (at the college) and Media (run at the school by good old Mr Stubbs).

Andy Bell and II managed to just pass the AS Levels with two E's in English & Business and a D in Media. I stayed on to study the A2 levels and although Business got harder and I struggled to get a overall grade E, I really enjoyed the other two and with my AS resits and A2 exams, I came out with two C Grades.

I'm a fully qualified journalist but my passion remains web design and development and I work from home developing web sites. I'm also a keen amateur photographer.

I am also an Altar Server at St Davids Connah's Quay, a role I've held for 20 years.

I'm a massive Erasure fan and I just adore the perfect Kylie Minogue. I have a wide taste in music ranging from The Killers to Steps and from the Lightning Seeds to Phil Collins.

I'm a big Formula One fan and I adore the very British McLaren and Williams teams and of course I hugely support Lewis in his Mercedes and I'm a sucker for any red Ferrari not being driven by an arrogant finger waving idiot!

Got so many close friends but my closest are Rachie Bridgewood, Rhiannon Moore, Jess Griffiths, Amy Tudor, Sandra Casey and Stacey Cronshaw.
